7 Things Cats Can’t Make Up Their Minds About

There’s no denying that cats are very cute and fun pets, who keep us laughing with their charming antics and silly quirks. These little furballs are rather enigmatic, however. One thing about Fluffy that keeps us scratching our heads about is her indecision. Here, a Burlington, ON vet lists a few things kitties just can’t make up their minds about.

In Or Out

If your kitty is allowed to go outside, you may find yourself letting her in and out quite a few times a day. Fluffy will sometimes meow at the door, only to walk away when you open it. Or, she may go out, only to demand you let her back in a moment later.

Baths

Most of our feline friends are not huge fans of getting bathed. However, there are a few kitties out there that absolutely love the water. Perhaps these furballs missed a few memos?

Cuddles

Many cats are very cuddly and affectionate, and love to be petted and held. However, Fluffy can change her mind about this at any given time. In fact, your furry little friend may start purring when you pet her, only to decide a moment later that you’re annoying her, and walk away or even bite you.

Dogs

Cats and dogs have had a pretty rocky relationship over the years. Fluffy and Fido can, in some cases, become bffs. In other instances, they fight like, well, cats and dogs.

Dinner

Does your furry pal sometimes meow to demand that you feed her right meow, only to turn her nose up at her cat food? Kitties can be quite finicky!

Where To Sleep

Fluffy certainly is tired, for some reason. Cats can sleep up to 20 hours a day! Your drowsy pet may move around from spot to spot for her morning, mid-morning, late morning, noon, afternoon, and evening naps, before taking up most of the bed during the night.

Entertainment

Have you ever bought your cat an expensive toy, only to have her bat at a bottlecap instead? If the answer is yes, you are not alone. This also applies to cat furniture. Many of our feline companions will go for a simple cardboard box over a fancy cat tower.
