Bad Breath Isn’t the Problem.
It’s the Warning.

By the time you can smell it, the disease is already under the gumline — heading for the heart, kidneys, and liver. Left alone, it damages organs and causes daily pain. A professional cleaning stops it.

Bad breath is how it starts.

That smell isn’t cosmetic. It’s bacteria building under the gumline — and ignored, it works its way into the bloodstream and the organs that keep your pet going.

Most dogs and cats show signs of dental disease by age three. Most owners never see it coming.

Why It Matters

It doesn’t stay in the mouth

Dental disease isn’t just sore gums. The bacteria under the gumline gets into the bloodstream — and travels through your pet’s whole body.

❤️

The Heart

Mouth bacteria can reach the heart valves. Untreated dental disease is linked to heart problems, especially in older pets.

Kidneys & Liver

That same bacteria filters through the kidneys and liver — straining organs that are hard to repair once damaged.

😣

Constant Pain

Loose teeth, abscesses, trouble eating. Pets hide it well — often until they stop chewing on one side.

Pets don’t complain. They adapt. Bad breath is the one warning you can catch — don’t let it slide.

“Scrabble got a dental cleaning and examination under sedation. The staff emailed us about a cancellation and booked him in earlier — we were ecstatic! The appointment was a huge success. We could not have asked for a better outcome.”

Common questions.

How often does my pet need an exam?

Once a year for most pets, and twice a year for seniors (7+). Regular exams catch dental disease and other problems early — before they turn painful or costly.

What are the signs of dental problems?

Bad breath is usually the first sign. Watch also for yellow-brown tartar, red or bleeding gums, drooling, pawing at the mouth, or chewing on one side. Many pets show nothing at all — which is why regular exams matter.

Is anesthesia safe?

We run full pre-anesthetic bloodwork before every dental. If anything flags, we pause and talk to you first. Your pet’s safety comes before the cleaning.

How long does recovery take?

Most pets eat dinner that night. Groggy for a few hours, back to normal by morning.

What if they need extractions?

We call you during the procedure — nothing happens without your approval. Extractions are an additional cost, and your 20% off applies to those too. We’ll quote everything before we proceed.
